The day I herd the reins of office I experienced a sea difference of being a subordinate or an ordinary member is very wide. I am very thankful to all my team members for their support to bring MUPTA to this stage and the trust put on me by experienced seniors. Under my presidentship few of the  cases handeled by association are Prof. Baba Patil from Bhavan’s college chaupaty, Principal (Dr.) Snehal Donde and Professors of existing PG unit of Mumbai University. The case of Professor Baba Patil has seen the culprit is being taken to police station in the presence of victim in a police van. The action of MUPTA compelled the authority to vidraw the charges levied against Professor Baba Patil. Principal Dr. Snehal Donde an Iron Ladydoubt all alone against the malpractices adopted by Mumbai University as far as appointments of Principals in different colleges are concerned, she spent time, money and energy by all means to get justice. Though the justice is still in pipeline, it is left to be seen that how the matter would be pushed up. I only tried to help her as a touch bearer. PG Professors of Mumbai University suffered a discriminating treatment at the hand of system. MUPTA however, followed up the case from all perspectives including the hearing at SC, ST Commission office which has resolved the case by cancelling the termination letter of 10 Professors and reinstalling them to their posts. Now PG unit stands firm to face any danger and fight out the matter on their own. Dr. Sandesh Wagh Vice-President of MUPTA made it a point to survive reservation policy in Mumbai University which is reshuffled after every 20 years. On the eve of Foundation day and Silver Jubilee celebration I hope the youngsters of MUPTA will come forward to push the legacy of agitation ahed to feel the joy and thrill of living for others.
